Jesus was no ordinary human being. He is the Son of God who was incarnate into human flesh. Not ordinary at all. But everything about his birth seemed quite ordinary, almost less than ordinary. There was a mom and dad (Mary and Joseph) in a poor stable in Bethlehem surrounded by livestock and shepherds. Jesus looked like a normal peasant child. But God had planned this to bring God’s glory into the most ordinary of life.
