Show Me – The Great Abounder
The the Cool Mom, the King of Pop, the Sultan of Swat, and even Sexy Pastor identify ways that people stand out to us. Whether its through greatness, shared recollections, or even a funny story, these monikers communicate something apparent about the person and becomes common in our language because others recognize it as well. Similarly, God identifies God-self as “abounding in steadfast love” and throughout the bible, the label sticks. Human history echos that God is indeed the Great Abounder.
