Kimberly Martin has been serving in worship ministry since she was in high school. She knew that God had a specific calling for her life to use her gifts and talents in music to help men and women engage in worship to God.
In pursuit of God’s call on her life, she completed her B.S. in Worship and Music Studies: Youth Ministry from Liberty University in 2009. The more she learned about worship, the more she understood that her calling included evangelism and making disciples of all nations. So she completed her M.A. in Ethnomusicology (’13) to explore how to engage in music and missions. She spent five years in central Virginia working with South Asians and studying Indian music and dance forms.
Kimberly then moved to Miami, FL and served in worship and multicultural ministry for three years while she completed her Doctor of Worship Studies (’18) from Liberty University focusing on engaging in multicultural ministry as a worship leader through relationships, language, performing & visual arts at Christ Fellowship Miami.
She believes that God’s heart for the church is people from every nation, tribe, and language coming together in unity before God in true worship (Revelation 7:9-12) and is excited to be a part of that at Vine Church.
Kimberly enjoys doing Crossfit, exploring new places and cultures, and a good cup of coffee or chai with friends.
