Lead Pastor & Church Planter
Todd Schlechty began his pastoral ministry in 1993. He served as the children’s pastor of a church in Lexington, Kentucky; the lead pastor of a transformative urban church in Norfolk, Virginia; the associate pastor of a thriving suburban church in Fairfax Station, Virginia; and as the lead pastor of a large downtown church in the Shenandoah Valley. Todd’s passion is to communicate the life changing message of Jesus Christ to those who need hope. It is this passion that led Todd to return to Northern Virginia in July 2009 to plant a new church called Vine Church. The mission of this congregation is to connect people to Jesus Christ so that lives may bear God’s fruit.
Todd is a native of Arlington, Virginia. He is a graduate of Yorktown High School, James Madison University, Asbury Theological Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree. Todd is an ordained Elder within the United Methodist Church.
Todd lives in Vienna, Virginia with his wife, Margaret, and their three children Ana, Abi and Josiah.
